Don't use an old stick to hold the trunk lid open, install this gas charged helper to keep your lid up and out of the way. Under the right circumstances, it even opens the lid for you!

Club MR2 is proud to offer this gas charged strut arrangement to hold the trunk lid of your MKI open. Pop the lock, lift the lid about 4 inches and watch it motor all the way up under its own power. Attaches using an existing bolt and a supplied ball stud. Requires drilling out an existing hole (bit included) for upper ball mount.

Kit comes with the gas strut, lower bracket, upper ball mount with lock nut and proper size drill bit for upper mount hole.
